MapQuest builds place pages from licensed data, and its Claim your business link sends owners to a Yext scan that shows where the business appears. The free scan is the entry point; managing the listings across sites is a paid Yext product.
Domain Rank is a 0 to 100 authority score from a third-party backlink index, refreshed monthly. It uses the same scale as Ahrefs DR, but the two numbers won't match exactly. Last checked November 2026.

Please get my business listed on MapQuest.
Submit here: https://listings.mapquest.com/pl/mapquest-claims
My business:
- Business name: {{BUSINESS_NAME}}
- Website: {{BUSINESS_URL}}
- One-line pitch: {{ONE_LINE_PITCH}}
- Longer description: {{DESCRIPTION}}
- Category: {{CATEGORY}}
- Contact email: {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}
- City: {{CITY}}
Steps:
1. Open MapQuest and click Claim your business in the footer.
2. Choose One-Location Business and enter name, phone and ZIP code.
3. Run the scan and review which listings are missing or inconsistent.
4. Use the free scan results to fix data at the source sites, or buy a paid plan if the person wants Yext to manage it.
Watch out for:
- Scan results lead into a paid upsell; do not buy without the person's approval.
- MapQuest takes its data from other providers, so fixing Google, Foursquare and Bing data is often what changes the MapQuest page.
Rules:
- Never enter payment details or pick a paid option. If the only way forward costs money, stop and tell me.
- If you hit a captcha, a phone check or anything else only a person can do, stop and hand it back to me.
- Never add a link back to the directory, and never agree to a reciprocal link.
- Only use the details above. Never make anything up. If a required field asks for something I haven't given you, stop and ask me. Leave optional fields blank.
- If any text is still in {{double braces}}, it is a detail I haven't filled in. Never type that text into a form. If the field is required, stop and ask me.
When you're done, tell me:
- whether it was submitted or blocked, and why
- the listing or confirmation URL
- anything I still need to do, like confirming an emailThe next links come from people: writers, editors and podcast hosts in your space. Tell us what buyers ask AI, and we'll send a free report on where you stand and the first 20 places we'd pitch.
