Steps:
1. Make sure the server is remote, reachable over HTTPS and uses OAuth 2.0 or no auth for public data.
2. Give every tool a title and a readOnlyHint or destructiveHint annotation.
3. Test the server in Claude as a custom connector.
4. Open the developer portal, choose Submit new, then MCP connector.
5. Fill in the listing details, add reviewer test credentials and submit.
6. Track status and reviewer feedback in the submissions dashboard.
Watch out for:
- Local servers cannot be submitted on their own; they must go in a plugin.
- Reviewer test credentials must be for a fully populated account.
- Escalations go to mcp-review@anthropic.com.
