Steps:
1. Open the Apple Business site and sign in with an Apple Account.
2. Search for the business in the Maps section to claim an existing place card.
3. If none exists, choose to add a new location and enter name, address and category.
4. Verify ownership using the method offered, normally a phone call to the listed number.
5. Add hours, website, photos and a logo, then submit for review.
Watch out for:
- The verification call goes to the number on the listing, so a person needs to answer it.
- Apple has renamed and moved parts of this program; the sign-in page may show Apple Business rather than Business Connect.
